404 Error – Page not Found
This isn’t the page you’re trying to get to. Instead, it’s a generic placeholder.
If you were trying to get to any article about Obihai VoIP devices, those have been taken down forever. If you want to know where this started, see the following post:
Link to forum thread: Obihai sucks – buyers paid for Google Voice, now they want more!
And, things have only gone downhill from there.
Just so you know, third party firmware is now available for Obihai devices, and it’s free. This firmware will let you update your older Obihai devices, or possibly add functionality to your newer ones. (Disclaimer: We have no connection to this firmware, or the authors thereof, and are posting this link for informational purposes only.)
Obihai apparently does NOT want people to know that this alternative firmware exists, and has allegedly banned users that so much as mention the existence of this firmware in their forums.
Discussion of these firmware modifications may be found in this thread on DSLReports.com:
Obihai OBi200/202/302 + OBi1022/1032/1062 firmware mods
Note that there are once again many posts on various VoIP forums suggesting that Google Voice will end the use of XMPP protocol in mid-June, 2018. For information on that, I urge you to follow this thread on DSLReports.com:
Google Voice XMPP support will go away in June
Note that it is likely that before the mid-June cutoff date, one or more solutions will be available that do not require the purchase of any additional equipment. So, don’t panic!
If you were trying to get to any other article, it may have been taken down because it was so out of date as to be useless. Feel free to use the search box to find any similar pages on the topic.
Other than that, we don’t know why the page you’re looking for isn’t here. Even our highly-trained search ferrets can’t find it. Better luck next time!
Thanks for the notes about the Obihai OBI202. I have one that recently started flashing red/green. I had previously reloaded the firmware and was able to get it working again, but this time it seems to be particularly stubborn. I tried to install the 3rd party firmware, but they just would not take. I tried to refer to the threads on dslreports, but dslreports has been down the past week+.
Are there any other tricks to get this darned things unbricked?
I just want to get it working again with my two DIDs from Anveo.
