This blog was originally started by Mr. Thom Byxbe, who unfortunately and rather unexpectedly passed away back in September 2024. He is missed by his friends and family.

A couple of his friends/family have assisted with this blog in various ways over time and even recently have approved and answered a few comments posted on past articles, but all things must come to an end. The blog will remain online as long as the server stays up, but no new content will be posted.

One of the resources frequently mentioned and referenced in the blog was DSLreports.com, also known as BroadbandReports.com. Sadly that has also recently gone defunct. Some of the links in this blog have been changed to reference archived pages on the Wayback Machine, but some may have been missed. Apologies. Some of the conversations that were taking place on DSLreports/BroadbandReports have been moved to the new Broadband Bulletin Forum.
